Why Is Gratitude a Great Friend For a Beautiful Life?

Every day I wake up, I walk into the ocean. Every day I wake up, I watch the sunrise before me. Even when it is raining, the sun still shines. Even when I am feeling low, the sun still burns a hole through my damaged ego and into my soul. It is so easy for me to complain. It is so easy for me to see the glass half full. When I look around and I notice the other guy has a prettier wife and a bigger car, I can feel less than. But this is not who I am. This mind. And mind, wants me always searching for more. I am happiest when I accept, I have everything I need, and the universe will always manifest everything I want. As long as my intention is to serve the universe and not my ego. This is a universal law. I am here to serve.
